About gensōFX

gensōFX is a working feed of AI-generated video experiments and the breakdowns behind them. The finished pieces, the prompts that started them, and the workflows in between — all shared as they happen on X.

It’s a place to see how AI video actually gets made — not just the polished final cut, but the prompts, the base images, the Runway passes, and the choices along the way. No paywalls, no signups, no gatekeeping. Follow along, copy what works, remix what doesn’t.

The name comes from 幻想 (gensō) — Japanese for “fantasy” or “illusion” — because that’s what this kind of work is: crafting something from nothing and making it feel real.
